About Dr. Lee

Welcome. I’m glad you are here.

My name is Dr. Eunice Lee, and I am a Licensed Therapist in the state of California.

I have worked extensively with individuals and families to help them understand themselves, build roads of communication, and cultivate healthy relationships.

When I work with a client, I take into consideration their history, their path, their cultures, and how they see the world as they have been confronted by relationships and societal systems. I believe we are shaped by the world around us, and I want to enter into that world together.

My style has been described as calm, reflective, and insightful.  I want to provide an open space for you to be honest with yourself and others with the assurance that I am on your team.

    Individual Therapy

Part of individual therapy is discovering what you want as well as the barriers in the way of relational freedom. This doesn’t mean being alone. In fact, it means the opposite. It means creating boundaries so you can be present in your relationships and as you walk through the world. Part of therapy is uncovering blind spots and increasing insight and awareness so you can come to your own conclusions.

I’ve helped individuals in therapy as they walk through difficult transitions and are looking for a guide to walk them through it. In my years of working with people, I have seen the resilience of the human spirit, and I know you have the strength within you, too.

Feel free to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation so we can collaborate on how to help you best.

Some of the issues I address include:

    • Anxiety and Depression
    • Intergenerational Trauma
    • Post-traumatic stress and resilience
    • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
    • Bicultural Relationships and Identity
    • Codependency and Attachment issues

    Couples Counseling

    Couples Therapy

You may feel frustrated with where you are in your relationship. It used to be so easy to connect and love, and now it feels hard to communicate and say what you mean. Sometimes arguments feel circular and like they are not going anywhere. It can be hard with the added pressure of not wanting to repeat past mistakes. On top of this, you may be juggling careers, family expectations, gender role conflict, and difficulties maintaining boundaries with extended family and in-laws.

You’re not just investing in yourself but creating a new culture of openness and connection for your future selves and your family. In my years of working with couples, I have found that it’s vital to the health of a relationship to communicate and work toward shared goals. This doesn’t just mean sharing but also listening and connecting.

In couples therapy, you can expect:

    • Addressing issues and expectations in a safe space
    • Increasing productive communication with your partner
    • Discovering how previous family patterns have impacted your marriage or relationship
    • Addressing how gender and societal expectations have impacted your relational dynamic

    Premarital Counseling

I am a trained Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and use the Prepare/Enrich assessment. It’s never too early to begin creating a strong foundation for yourselves and your future family!

I provide a five session premarital counseling package. In our sessions, we will:

    • Address expectations of marriage, current stressors, and potential barriers to communication or conflict
    • Practice communication skills and provide insight into how your relationship works and doesn’t work
    • Discover previous family patterns and how they may be impacting your relationship
    • Discover new ways to relate to one another and establish family norms and values that you are both excited about.

Feel free to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation to collaborate on how to help you best.

All of my sessions are via telehealth with your privacy in mind. I use HIPPA compliant platforms to ensure your privacy.
